School’s out
School’s out tmr. I decided to buy a mini disc recorder off this guy, i’ll be getting a sweet mic with it, some blanks and all the cords i need to plug into my computer. I’ll be able to record my own stuff, concerts, or use it to as a portable music player. Not a very eventful day, I watched my two Stevie Ray Vaughan DVDs Live at El Macombo and Austin City Limits. There’s a used 2003 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Honey Burst I wanna get, I e-mailed Fat Sound, there’s a guy that has it reserved, I’m hoping he doesn’t get it so I can buy it.
I’m listening to my Beatles Greatest Hits CD 1967-1970, and am noticing all the background music and instruments which are obviously due to Phil Spector. I think a lot of the songs off Let it Be would sound better stripped down, thus I believe I’ll buy the Beatles Let it Be Naked CD that just came out a few months ago.
